The mission of Essential Self Studio is to bring the therapeutic experience of art to everyone through a launch of seasonal kits of paints, pastels, brushes and tools. I helped this small brand get off the ground with branding and packaging. My client’s objective was embracing imperfection so I sought to create visuals that were captivating and artistic but achievable.
The client wanted a logo that was simple but spoke to the central idea of embracing imperfection while finding meaning through art. The concept was born from the idea of a simple museum attribution tag. Humble but full of possibility. In addition to the branding, I designed a series of custom boxes for the kits, a brand style guide, social media templates and web banners.
